Food

• The Food Bank for Monterey County hosts food distributions every 3rd Thursday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Saint Theodore’s Church
• Gonzales Community Food Pantry will be hosting a food distribution at 9AM on Friday (every 3rd and 4th Friday of each month) at the Mission Annex on 4th & Day Streets

Clothing

• Gonzales Community Church Clothing Closet is open Tuesday-Wednesday  from 2PM to 4PM  & Thursday 1-3PM at the Mission Annex located on 4th and Day Streets

Gonzales Community News

• City Council meeting will be held on Monday December 8,  2025 at 6pm located at the City Chambers
• The City of Gonzales is currently hiring for a Public Works Director and do not forget to explore other employment growth opportunities provided through the City.

Community Events

• The Holiday Lights is December 6th, 2025 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm on 4th Street, do not miss out on food vendors, music, prizes and more
• Starting Tuesday December 2nd 2025 at 10:30am - 11:15 am The City of Gonzales brings back Circuit Training for Senior Citizens hosted by our CSUMB Intern and will be located at the Vosti Center

Gonzales High School

• Gonzales High School partners with Sun Street Centers to provide community service hours. Joining them every Thursday from 2:05pm - 3:35pm at Gonzales High School.
