COVID-19 Updates

  • On December 21st, Gonzales had 296 cases. The number keeps climbing, so please remember to only go out for ESSENTIAL needs, wash your hands often, and wear your mask.
  • There are pop-up testing sites on the following dates and times:
    • Castroville Library: Tuesday - Thursday, Saturday from 8AM - 8PM

    • Cesar Chavez Library: Tuesday - Thursday, Saturday from 8AM - 8PM

    • Seaside High School: Tuesday - Thursday, Saturday from 8AM-8PM

    • Soledad High School: Tuesday - Thursday, Saturday from 8AM-8PM

    • Planned Parenthood (Monterey Peninsula College): TODAY (Wednesday) from 9AM - 3PM 

*By Appointment, but Walk-Ins are from 5PM - 7PM as supplies allow

Food Distributions

  • Cypress Food Distributions will NOT be having food distributions on 12/29 but will resume on 01/05
  • Food Bank for Monterey County will be hosting drive-thru food distributions at the following dates and locations:

    • Mondays from 10AM - 11AM at 425 Gabilan Dr. in Soledad

    • Tuesdays from 10AM - 11AM at 615 El Camino Real in Greenfield

    • Wednesdays from 10AM - 11AM at 625 Division St. in King City

    • Wednesdays from  11AM - 12PM at Cattlemen & College Roads in San Ardo

    • Thursdays from 9:30AM - 10:30AM at 116 South Belden St. in Gonzales

    • Tuesdays from 12PM - 1PM at 24285 Lincoln St. in Chualar

  • There will be no distributions on the following dates:

    • 12/24, 12/28, 12/29, 12/30, and 12/31
