Highlights for this week

• COVID-19 testing is now available at Clinica de Salud in Gonzales! Open to everyone in the community with or without symptoms and with or without insurance. See slide for telephone numbers to make your appointment.

• New state health order restrictions for Monterey County businesses went into effect on July 8, 2020. See slide for details or visit the website for the Monterey County Health Department for additional details.

• Wednesday, July 15: Help make US 101 south of Salinas a safer drive! Participate in a town hall meeting workshop with Monterey County Supervisor, Chris Lopez and transportation agencies and advocacy groups working toward this goal (see slide for meeting connection details).

• La Gloria Elementary is still registering students for kindergarten and their dual language immersion program. See slide for links to online registration. For questions, call 831-675-3663.

• Weekly Food Distributions:

  • Tuesdays (11:00 AM): Cypress Church Gonzales at Vosti Center

  • Thursdays (9:30 AM): Food Bank for Monterey County at St. Theodore's Church

  • Saturdays (10:00 AM): One Table at Gonzales Community Presbyterian Church

• Please remember to share what you can with the City of Gonzales' Little Free Pantries. Drop your non-perishable food items in the container outside of City Hall or place directly in the pantries throughout the community.
