Monterey County Establishes Ambulance Service through an Exclusive Operating Area. There will be a new contract for ambulance service in most of Monterey County. The new contract will be developed after the Request for Proposals (RFP). The announcement with dates is attached. Monterey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) developed this RFP.
