Dear City of Gonzales Business Owner:

In the November 2020 election, the City of Gonzales put forward an additional sales tax measure for an additional .5%, called Measure X, which would bring the Sales Tax Rate in the City of Gonzales to 8.750%. The Measure was passed by the voters of the City of Gonzales, and the new Sales Tax Rate will take effect on April 1, 2021.

These are important Sales Tax Dollars to the City because 100% of that tax collected stays in the City of Gonzales. Please make sure to adjust your cash registers to the new rate of 8.750% beginning on April 1, 2021.
