The City of Gonzales Recreation Department offers seasonal aquatic activities from June to August. The City offers a wide variety of Aquatic Recreation including Swimming Lessons, Junior Lifeguards, Recreation Swim, Night Swim, Tot Swim and Private Pool Parties. The City also provides aquatics programming for the Gonzales Unified School District during their summer sessions.
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
The mission of the aquatics program is to; provide a safe environment for aquatic recreation, teach aquatic safety through swim lessons, provide opportunities for Gonzales residents to enjoy aquatic recreation and to manage fiscal resources responsibly.
